North Korea threatened it will “definitely” attack South Korea next time its airspace is violated by either the military or civilians, according to a statement Friday by leader Kim Jong Un’s sister.

“We give advance notice that should provocative incidents violating the sacred and inviolable sovereignty of the DPRK recur, a harsh response will definitely be taken,” Kim Yo Jong said via state media.

She added the response will “exceed proportionality” and that the military, led by her brother, will consider “various counterattack plans,” the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
