A VIP business jet has made a rare journey to Pyongyang, arriving on Friday and departing on Monday, NK News analysis of flight-tracking data shows.

A Bombardier Challenger 605 aircraft, tail number RA-67147, departed Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport on Oct. 23 and arrived at Pyongyang’s Sunan International Airport on Oct. 24 after a stopover at Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, according to data from Flightradar24.

It remained on the ground for several days before departing Pyongyang on Monday morning.

According to third-party aviation databases, the aircraft is registered to the government of Russia’s Tatarstan region and operated by Aviaservice, a Kazan-based business charter
