North Korean leader Kim Jong Un penned a letter to the nation on Friday explicitly rejecting the future possibility of political reform, while calling for measures to address ideological disillusionment among young people and more strongly enforce total obedience to his rule.
The Rodong Sinmun printed his letter on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), along with reports on Kim and his “beloved daughter” attending a concert and banquet at the new WPK Central Cadres Training School.
