North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has sent top officials in the country’s elite Politburo to an ideological reeducation program, according to state media on Sunday, as part of his ongoing push to enforce obedience to his instructions and boost his personality cult.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and state TV reports showed Kim standing in a classroom on Saturday looking over the shoulders of top officials as they learned about “The Fundamentals of Marxism-Leninism” and the origins of Juche as part of the new “in-service retraining” course.
