South Korea’s largest international airport suspended all flights for three hours early Wednesday morning, after concluding that North Korea’s latest launch of trash-carrying balloons posed safety risks to aircraft.

Incheon International Airport Corporation told NK News on Wednesday that it suspended all inbound and outbound flights from the main airport serving Seoul from 1:46 a.m. to 4:43 a.m.

“One North Korean trash balloon fell at Terminal 2, Gate 248, at around 4:08
