Thousands of North Korean propaganda workers gather to boost Kim Jong Un worship

Leader did not attend conference where top official demanded attendees become ‘powerful megaphones’ for Kim’s teaching

Thousands of North Korean propaganda sector workers gathered in Pyongyang this week for a four-day conference on boosting worship of leader Kim Jong Un and eliminating reluctance to follow his orders, according to state media.

The “second workshop of officials in the field of propaganda work of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK)” took place from April 20 to 23, the Rodong Sinmun reported Wednesday, saying the event would raise society’s focus on Kim-centered ideology “to a whole new level.”
