Kim Jong Un watches paratrooper drills practicing infiltration of South Korea

North Korean leader's young daughter also attends drills amid weeks of rival military exercises on Korean Peninsula

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw paratrooper drills on Friday simulating an infiltration operation into South Korea, according to state media, the fourth large-scale military training Kim has attended in the last two weeks.

The Rodong Sinmun reported Saturday that Kim assessed the military is ready for "full combat mobilization" after the series of recent drills, which included special forces practicing the takeover of an ROK guard post, artillery drills targeting Seoul and a competition between tank units.
