No North Korean activity at Kaesong zone after signs of life last year: Photos

Images from border suggest sharp decline in activity from summer, after Seoul accused DPRK of operating 30 factories

No signs of life were visible at the Kaesong Industrial Complex from a vantage point on the inter-Korean border this month, despite recent reports that North Korea is illegally operating some 30 South Korean facilities at the shuttered complex.

Photos taken from the Dora Observatory in Paju, north of Seoul, on Friday and obtained by NK News do not show any of the signs of activity that were evident last summer.
