Kim Jong Un inspects jet fighters, reviews South Korea attack plans

North Korean leader visits air force headquarters and key airbase on Aviation Day holiday

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited air force headquarters on Thursday to celebrate the Nov. 29 Aviation Day holiday, according to state media, where he vowed to ring in a "dazzling new era" of development.

The Rodong Sinmun published photos on Friday showing air force commander Kim Kwang Hyok and the DPRK leader reviewing attack plans over maps of South Korea, mirroring recent high-level military meetings where such plans were called “counterattack” contingencies.
