A top U.S. official warned North Korea will “pay a price” if it sells weapons to Russia on Tuesday, following reports that DPRK leader Kim Jong Un will soon meet Vladimir Putin for arms talks.

During a press briefing at the White House, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan repeated claims from a joint statement last week that negotiations between the two countries on North Korean weapons sales to Russia for the war in Ukraine were “actively advancing.”

“Providing weapons to Russia for use on the battlefield to attack grain silos and the heating infrastructure of major cities as we
