South Korea launched major government training on responding to North Korean threats on Monday, with President Yoon Suk-yeol calling for officials to focus on combating “fake news and propaganda” in wartime and defending critical infrastructure against attack.
Central and local government agencies and public institutions are set to participate in the Ulchi training, which is part of large-scale U.S.-ROK Ulchi Freedom Shield (UFS) military drills that also kicked off on Monday.
