Kim Jong Un promises nuclear weapon deployment to navy in visit to HQ

In inspection with daughter, North Korean leader demands improved readiness to fight US, South Korea and Japan

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his daughter visited the country’s naval headquarters near Pyongyang on Sunday to inspect war readiness and promise to deliver nuclear weapons amid tensions with the U.S. and South Korea, according to state media.

The Rodong Sinmun report Tuesday said the Kims also hosted a banquet after the visit to the Command of the Navy of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) and that the visit marked the Aug. 28 Day of the Navy holiday.
