Russia delivers 1K tons of wheat flour to North Korea in June: Customs agency

Latest in series of grain shipments this year comes amid continuing reports of food shortages in DPRK

A Far East Russian region delivered over one thousand tons of wheat flour to North Korea in June, according to the Russian government, the latest in a series of shipments publicized since earlier this year.

In a press release uploaded Wednesday, Russia’s federal veterinary customs agency stated that 1,080 tons of the 13,500 tons of wheat flour exported by the Siberian region of Kuzbass in June went to the DPRK.
