In an exclusive interview with NK News, former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton criticized Washington’s attempts to engage with North Korea over the years, assessing that Pyongyang has repeatedly failed to negotiate in good faith.
Bolton also argued that China must play a bigger role in North Korea’s denuclearization but rejected the idea of seeking regime change to achieve Korean reunification, while claiming that Joe Biden is repeating the mistakes of Barack Obama’s “strategic patience” approach to the DPRK.
