Defector launches anti-regime leaflets toward North Korea on war anniversary

Park Sang-hak defies government warnings to continue leafleting, send banner accusing Kim Jong Un of plotting invasion

A prominent defector activist says he launched hundreds of thousands of anti-regime leaflets toward North Korea on Sunday to mark a Korean War anniversary, including a banner that accuses Kim Jong Un of plotting to invade the South.

Fighters for a Free North Korea (FFNK) released 20 balloons carrying “200,000 leaflets, 10,000 masks, 50,000 Tylenol pills and 200 booklets” from the border city of Gimpo at 10 p.m., group leader Park Sang-hak said in a press release on Monday.
