North Korea slams US-ROK-Japan radar link plan as step toward nuclear ‘alliance’

Condemnation comes as Seoul delivers mixed messages about Tokyo’s involvement in nuclear coordination group with US

The U.S., South Korea and Japan are creating a nuclear "alliance" aimed at North Korea, state media claimed Thursday, calling an agreement between the three to share radar information another step toward an "Asian version of NATO."

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) published an article written by Kang Jin Song, an "international affairs analyst," condemning efforts to share real-time data on North Korean missile launches as an escalation of worsening regional tensions.
