New North Korean firm boasts of role in building library at Zambian university

NK News investigation links company to construction project at top school, a rare example of DPRK activity in country

A North Korean company has taken credit for helping to construct or design a library at Zambia’s top university, an NK News investigation has found, activity that one expert said would be a rare example of bilateral exchange between the two nations.

The latest edition of the DPRK’s Foreign Trade magazine features an article introducing the Moksong Overseas Construction & Economic Technology Cooperation Company, and a photo that runs alongside the article shows a building that NK News has identified as the University of Lusaka library at its Silverest Campus.
