The U.N. Security Council (UNSC) has repeatedly failed to agree on responses to North Korean weapons tests in recent years, even as its missile launches have ramped up in frequency and intensity. 

And in exclusive statements to NK News, member states say the DPRK’s nuclear and missile programs have become one of the most divisive issues facing diplomats in New York, with few prospects for the main players to reach an agreement despite growing risks on the peninsula.
