North Korea launches two short-range ballistic missiles: ROK military

Japan also reports both missiles splashed down shortly after launch, as Pyongyang continues testing around US-ROK drills

North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) on Monday morning, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

It marks the 11th known missile launch event of the year and seventh this month, after Pyongyang described its recent tests as warnings to the U.S. and ROK to stop “provocative” joint military drills.
