Cable TV channel says it was dropped over alleged pro-North Korea views

Tongil TV claims decision has put it at risk of collapse, while experts call move a loss for discourse about DPRK

A major South Korean cable company has dropped a small television network promoting inter-Korean unification over concerns of pro-North Korea bias, the network alleges.

Tongil TV, which began service in Aug. 2021 and says it aims to promote peaceful reunification of the Koreas through its coverage, says the decision by cable operator KT has left it close to collapsing.
