Seoul is weighing whether to suspend a 2018 inter-Korean military agreement, the presidential office announced Wednesday, after North Korea sent several drones across ROK territory and test-fired a variety of other weapons that breached the terms of the deal.
President Yoon Suk-yeol ordered top security and military officials to consider the merits of continuing to uphold the Comprehensive Military Agreement (CMA) in a closed-door meeting on Wednesday, press secretary Kim Eun-hye said at a briefing. She did not provide further details or a timeline for the decision.
