The missile launches mark the DPRK’s fourth testing event in the past week after it fired a short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) on Sunday and two SRBMs on both Wednesday and Thursday evening, before and after U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visited South Korea. North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles toward the East Sea on Saturday morning, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

The missile launches mark the DPRK’s fourth testing event in the past week after it fired a short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) on Sunday and two SRBMs on both Wednesday and Thursday evening, before and after U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visited South Korea.

Both launches on Saturday took place from the Sunan area near Pyongyang between 6:45 a.m. and 7:03 a.m. KST, according to JCS. The
