Army must be ready to use ‘ultra-precision’ missiles against North Korea: Seoul

Defense minister cites threats from DPRK missile tests and artillery drills in instructions to field officers

The South Korean military should be ready to use “ultra-precision” missiles against North Korea at any time, Seoul’s top defense official has said, citing recent DPRK artillery drills near the inter-Korean border and missile launches.

Defense minister Lee Jong-sup delivered the instructions to field officers at the Army Missile Strategic Command on Thursday.
