North Korea to start COVID vaccine campaign in fall: Kim Jong Un

Kim cites cold weather virus risks in speech, while also promising large economic growth by 2025 at assembly session

North Korea will begin distributing COVID-19 vaccines officially for the first time starting this fall amid concerns of decreasing immunity levels, the country’s leader Kim Jong Un said in a speech Thursday.
