North Korean leader Kim Jong Un guided a two-day meeting of political and military leaders to “review state disaster prevention work,” state media reported Tuesday, alongside warnings about a major typhoon expected to bring heavy rains the same day.
The large-scale meeting appeared to focus on overall state disaster-related policies instead of the approaching Typhoon Hinnamnor, called Typhoon 11 in North Korea.
