Seoul court fines Kim Jong Un over $100K for North Korean attacks on South

Nine plaintiffs win civil case against regime for role in 2002 Battle of Yeonpyeong

A Seoul court has ordered North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to pay a six-figure fine in a ruling in favor of nine South Korean victims of DPRK attacks, including a 2002 maritime battle.

Kim should pay a total of around $135,100 (180 million won) to the nine South Koreans found to have been victimized by the regime, the Seoul Central District Court website showed Friday.
