U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the inter-Korean border area of Panmunjom on Thursday, informed sources confirmed to NK News, in what South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol called a show of deterrence against North Korea.
Pelosi’s trip to the Joint Security Area (JSA) in the Demilitarized Zone came less than an hour after she held phone talks with Yoon and discussed how to respond to North Korean threats with political leaders in Seoul.
