Nancy Pelosi is the “worst destroyer” of peace and her visit to the inter-Korean border last week demonstrated U.S. “hostile policy” toward North Korea, the country’s foreign ministry said in a statement over the weekend.

The U.S. House speaker traveled to the Joint Security Area (JSA) at Panmunjom last Thursday in what ROK President Yoon Suk-yeol described as a “sign of U.S.-ROK deterrence against North Korea.”

“She, with the south Korean authorities, talked about ‘strong and expanded deterrent’ for coping with ‘threat from north Korea’ and even crawled into the joint security area of Panmunjom,” wroteJo Yong Sam, director
