Opposition lawmakers slammed the Yoon Suk-yeol administration on Monday for its initial decision not to publicize a North Korean multiple rocket launcher (MRL) test over the weekend, putting the president on the defensive over the delayed report.
Yoon told reporters that there was nothing “suspicious” about the decision not to announce the MLR launches that took place Sunday morning until later that night, after he came in for criticism for not joining a meeting of security officials and attending a screening of an award-winning Korean film in the evening.
