South Korean president-elect’s foreign policy aides meet top US officials and discuss extended deterrence

A delegation representing South Korean president-elect Yoon Suk-yeol visited the White House on Tuesday to discuss North Korea and other security issues.

After meeting U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman on Monday, the U.S.-ROK Policy Consultation Delegation met White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Tuesday and delivered a letter to U.S. President Joe Biden, according to Yoon’s press office.
