The European Parliament (EP) is a “gang of liars” engaged in an “intolerable provocation” against North Korea, Pyongyang’s foreign ministry said Wednesday, less than two weeks after the parliament adopted a new resolution condemning human rights violations in the DPRK.
Among other things, the EP resolution passed on April 7 “strongly condemns” the DPRK’s “systematic and large-scale use of the death penalty” and expresses its “deep concern about the systematic violations of freedom of religion and belief affecting Shamanism and Christianity.”
