North Korea launched its previously tested Hwasong-15 long-range missile last week, not the newer, larger Hwasong-17 as Pyongyang claims, South Korea’s defense ministry has assessed. The findings, detailed in a report to South Korean lawmakers on Tuesday, further back up NK Pro analysis and media reports that the DPRK misrepresented the nature of its test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on March 24.
