US ratchets up criticism of North Korea after latest ballistic missile test

Top official alludes to ‘other options’ beyond sanctions, as experts say Pyongyang awaits Washington’s response

Top U.S. officials have condemned North Korea’s launch of its longest-range missile in years on Sunday, stressing Washington’s military preparedness and raising the possibility of “other” responses beyond additional sanctions.
