North Korea received third cargo train shipment from China on Wednesday: Video

Footage from Japanese outlet shows daily rail trade since Monday restart, though unclear how long activity will continue

A train carrying medicine and other supplies crossed from China to North Korea for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, according to video footage released by a Japanese outlet, after Beijing said the two sides had “resumed” freight train operations earlier this week.

The video from TBS News shows a Chinese locomotive taking full train cars to North Korea before bringing empty cars back to China. Snow covers the ground in the video, after it snowed overnight Tuesday in the region.
