Apparent ballistic missile launch is North Korea's fourth missile test of January

North Korea fired two "likely short-range ballistic missiles" from the Pyongyang airport area toward its east coast on Monday morning, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced.

JCS said the DPRK fired the missiles toward the northeastern East Sea at 8:50 a.m. and 8:54 a.m. KST and that they flew 236 miles (380 kilometers), with a detected altitude of 26 miles (42 km).
