ROK nationals arrested for violating immigration law allegedly received instructions from a DPRK spy, source says

Two South Korean nationals arrested in Japan last year allegedly sought to obtain foreign currency for North Korea under the direction of a DPRK spy, NK News confirmed on Friday.

According to a government intelligence source, Japanese authorities arrested the two South Koreans — Kim Jong-suk and Kim Jong-kap — in fall 2020 on allegations of illegally entering the country.
