Dozens of personnel attached to the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang will board a train to leave North Korea on Wednesday, multiple informed sources told NK News, further shrinking the significantly reduced international presence in the DPRK capital.
The large exodus of staff means only two active diplomats will remain at the Russian Embassy, along with an unspecified number of technicians, one source said. NK News understands that Ambassador Aleksandr Matsegora continues to remain in Pyongyang, however.
