North Korea tests 678 additional people and finds zero COVID cases: WHO

The DPRK has yet to begin administering vaccines, as South Korea’s vaccination rate reaches 70%

North Korea has found no COVID-19 cases after testing an additional 678 people, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), as state media reported on a new, more virulent strain of the coronavirus spreading overseas.

The DPRK reported that it tested 113 people with flu-like illness or severe acute respiratory infections and 565 health care workers from Oct. 8-14, the WHO’s latest situation report states.
