The United States should reconsider pressure on North Korea and address the country’s “legitimate concerns” in response to steps it has taken toward denuclearization, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Saturday.
In a keynote speech at the 9th World Peace Forum in Beijing, Wang emphasized the need for “dialogue and peaceful settlement” and “phased and synchronized actions” to solve the denuclearization issue, while stating that the U.S. “needs to reconsider its incessant military threats and pressure on the DPRK over the decades.”
