North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent a “verbal message of sympathy” to Chinese leader Xi Jinping over deadly floods that recently devastated areas in central China, DPRK state media reported on Saturday.
“The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed profound sympathy to General Secretary Xi Jinping and deep condolences to the victims and the bereaved families over the flood damage,” Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported. The state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun also carried the article at the top of its front page.
