Classic heroes of North Korean propaganda art, such as miners and scientists, are joined by masked farmers and COVID-19 fighters in the country's latest official propaganda posters, released in state media Tuesday to encourage the population’s compliance with new party directives.
The new posters, featuring standard propaganda slogans and artistic characteristics that date back decades, more specifically call for meeting agricultural and other goals this year after Kim Jong Un last week revealed that North Korea is experiencing a “food crisis.”
