North Korea wants the world to know that its aerospace program remains active despite widespread opposition to its activities in the past. On Tuesday, state media outlet Naenara reported that officials from the National Aerospace Development Administration (NADA) and other government departments have been taking “refresher courses” in their fields this year at major universities such as Kim Chaek University of Technology. After completing their coursework, NADA officials “are presenting plans to improve the work of their units and go ahead of the times,” according to an official named Pak Ji Song with the State Commission of Science and Technology. © Korea Risk Group.
