Experts say that Kim Jong Un will inevitably bring up his Seoul counterparts, but will keep the message very vague

Kim Jong Un has almost always delivered a New Years speech and included a message to South Korea. But this year, Jan. 1 came and went without any sign of the North Korean leader’s famous annual address.

So, Seoul is now looking for a shout-out in the DPRK’s next milestone event: the high-profile Party Congress in Pyongyang, which is slated for sometime this week and could happen any day now.
