The South Korean military detected potential signs of a military parade in Kim Il Sung Square on the evening of Jan. 10

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff says that a possible North Korean military parade took place in the capital city of Pyongyang on Sunday.

On Monday, the JCS stated that the South Korean military detected signs of North Korea conducting a Party Congress-related military parade at Kim Il Sung Square on the evening of Jan. 10. At the time, a source also told NK News that soldiers and 10 heavy armored vehicles were spotted moving towards the square, which was lit up in a way similar to the last military parade on Oct. 10.
