North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected more typhoon-devastated areas on the east coast and expressed satisfaction with elite party members’ reconstruction work, state media reported on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Visiting Sinpho City and Hongwon county in South Hamgyong province, Kim said that the Division No. 1 of Party Members of the Capital City “built the houses flawlessly as well as professional builders,” according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). The party members’ work came after several typhoons wrecked homes and caused other damage in September.
