North Korea may reveal more than a dozen heavy missile launchers at its upcoming Oct. 10 military parade, analysts said on Wednesday, citing recent satellite imagery showing a parade training area and workers reinforcing a bridge in Pyongyang.
A newly built heavy equipment storage unit containing more than 100 garages were identified at the Mirim Parade Training Ground, according to a 38 North analysis of Sept. 14 satellite imagery. Some of these garage bays even have space for North Korea’s largest transporter erector launchers (TELs) and missile systems.
