COVID measures still ‘deficient’ in North Korea: Politburo

Politburo meeting led by Kim Jong Un also emphasized importance of party's upcoming 75th anniversary holiday

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and top officials said there are still "some deficiencies" in the country's battle to fight off the global COVID-19 pandemic, state media reported on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The comments came during a Politburo meeting held in Pyongyang the previous day, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
