Little to no mention of North Korea during US Republican National Convention

After touting North Korea as a major victory in 2018, Trump fails to mention the DPRK even once in his final RNC speech

North Korea did not appear on the agenda during the four-day-long U.S. Republican National Convention (RNC), which came to a close on Thursday after confirming Trump as the party’s nominee.

In fact, Trump did not mention the DPRK at all during his Aug. 27 speech at the RNC. His only mention of the Korean peninsula was a one-liner about Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden “[backing] the horrendous South Korea trade deal.”
