Kim Jong Un holds meeting on incoming typhoon, urges better COVID-19 plan

Politburo and Executive Policy Council meetings convened in Pyongyang on Aug. 25 as Typhoon Bavi approaches

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the country's top officials convened another series of meetings on Aug. 25, reportedly discussing preparations for a typhoon set to make landfall this week. Kim also reportedly complained that the emergency system to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is still lacking.
