Moon appoints new unification minister, NIS chief, and national security adviser following spat with North

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Friday appointed new heads of the country's intelligence service, unification ministry, and the Presidential Office of National Security, in a major reshuffle of top officials dealing with the North.

Moon plans to appoint Suh Hoon, former head of the National Intelligence Service (NIS), as the new director of national security at the Blue House, spokesperson Kang Min-seok said.
